Frequently Asked Questions

What is baptism?
Once you have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord, baptism by immersion is the tangible way of showing that you trust Him alone for your salvation. It is not only a symbol that you are committed to Christ, but it also represents the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Baptism at Savannah Christian Church
SCC offers a baptism during each service. Baptism by immersion is a requirement to become a member of SCC. If you have already been “baptized” in a form other than total immersion (such as christening or dedication), you are required to be baptized again to become a SCC member.
