Financial Assistance
There is no guarantee of financial assistance; however, we offer resources that, when applied, will alleviate the recurrence of financial and spiritual bondage.
Assistance Procedures
Applicants are required to:
* fill out our benevolence assistance form*
* bring copies of utility bills
* bring a photo ID
* speak with an advisor about their situation
In Time of Need
When there is a death in the congregation for members not involved in a small group, this group of volunteers prepares a home cooked meal for the family in their time of need.
Car Ministry
Donated cars are made available to those without transportation who have applied and been approved for such a gift. Call Yvonne Fowler 912.629.4720 for details.
Hospital & Shut-In Visitation
If you or a family member is hospitalized for any reason and would like visitation from a pastor at Savannah Christian Church, please contact the Pastoral Care Department at 629-4720.
If you have a surgery scheduled and would like a minister to pray with you beforehand, please contact the Pastoral Care Department at 629-4720 during business hours the day before the surgery with the time of check-in and the time of the surgery as well as the name of the hospital.
Visitation is also available for those in long-term care facilities. Please contact the Pastoral Care Department at 629-4720 to make arrangements for visitation.
Those who are shut-in and no longer physically able to attend church can receive communion at home. Contact the Pastoral Care Department at 629-4720 to be added to the schedule.
